Scape entirely reimagines student accommodation
For decades students were expected to live in badly designed spaces. Now with more pressure on young people than ever, where they live is incredibly important. With over 30,000 beds in the UK and Australia, Scape was born from the belief that student living can be quality living.

Setting new standards for student living
Founded in 2008, Scape has become a market leader in the PBSA space. Our commitment to excellence has been recognised industry-wide, earning the prestigious title of RESI Student Accommodation Operator of the Year on multiple occasions.
With the backing of APG, the world’s leading real estate investor, we continue to expand our reach and impact. Strong partnerships with top academic institutions - including Imperial College London, University College London, and King’s College London - and pulling significant appeal of Russell Group universities, further solidify our position at the forefront of the industry.

Having taken Scape to Australia in 2014, partnering with the Executive Chair and Group CEO of Scape Australia, Meanwhile's founders retain their board positions, and are proud to have seen Scape evolve to become the biggest purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) owner and operator in the country.
Scape is home to over 17,000 residents in 35 buildings across Australia’s four key educational precincts – Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide – as well as 10 buildings in planning and development, which will bring the portfolio to 22,000 beds by the end of 2024.
